Greetings cubicle monkeys. First I want to say sorry for all the bogus updates earlier, I’ve been less than pleased with the performance of the API plugins I’ve been using that auto-update Twitter and FaceBook. As such I spent pretty much all of today trying to locate other plugins that do the job better. Unfortunately the ones that are out there that could be doing the job better either have not been updated to work with WordPress v3.0 or haven’t been maintained in more than a few years meaning the scripts are too far out of date to be of any use due to changes in the API’s over the years.
Alas, I’ve finally gone back to the original plugins that I was using, and though they don’t work as seamlessly as I would like, they do in fact work. I’m still waiting to hear back from some of the developers that are still supporting their software and maybe they have answers to my issues, or they may not. All in all, no more false updates for a while.
And speaking of updates, as the title plainly states the next comic is online. All the screwing around with software I did today has put the next comic behind about a day so expect the next one somewhere around Friday or Saturday. That’s about all for now, enjoy the comic. As well, here’s a picture I snapped a few weeks ago and forgot to post, be sure to take notice of all the services advertised on the camper. I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t end up on FailBlog.org
